Milestones, milestones.
The last week has been a bad week. But I'm ok now. The happy Raghav is back.
This is the Raghav that knows that moping and weeping all around the place isn't worth anything. This is the Raghav that knows that the best things in life exist in the NOW, and there's no point in worrying about the future, or the past.
And hopefully this Raghav is here to stay for a while.
Many many mistakes made and learnt from in that last week. My stupid arguments, my stupid mistake, my stupid thoughts, everything. I've learnt to not argue, and instead not care. I've learnt that jumping to conclusions is akin to jumping off a bloody plane without checking the parachute. I've learnt that happy thoughts help. A LOT.
And yesterday made it all better.
Yesterday the other guys (Eugene, Marcus, Kenneth, Jonathan, Gavin, Kai Jie, Varun) and I went out for dinner. We originally intended to go and eat at Lau Pa Sat (is that how you spell it?) but the atmosphere there just killed that idea. So we went to eat at NYDC at Suntec. After that, we fooled around at Toys r Us for a while, before slowly walking to the Flyer to get more food and hang out at the open air amphitheatre. The talking helped. Being honest with everyone there, the bullshit, the laughs all helped me totally clear my head. I realized yesterday how much I missed the guys. (No, that's not meant to sound gay.) Hopefully we can do this every week!
(happy thoughts, happy thoughts happy thoughts!)
Cheers people!
"I'll be there for you,
when the rain starts to fall.
I'll be there for you,
like I've been there before.
I'll be there for you,
cause you're there for me too."
